Induction Loop Systems:

Direct-to-Hearing-Aid Sound Projection For Commercial Venues, Senior Centers and Homes

Introducing State-of-the-Art Technology from Assist2Hear

Induction Loop Systems: How They Work

hearing

With our induction loop technology, an audio signal is transmitted directly to all nearby hearing aids or cochlear implants through the t-coil receiver. (All hearing aids have a t-coil receiver.)  Because the sound is sent directly to the hearing aid, background noise, competing sounds, reverberation, and other acoustic distortions are minimized. The hearing impaired receive clear, comfortable sound.

Advantages of an Assist2Hear Loop System

    hearing
    • Listeners use their own hearing instruments, so the sound is optimized for each user’s hearing loss and needs.
    • A t-coil, the only universal technology amongst hearing aid manufacturers, allows the user to use a hearing loop anywhere in the world.
    • Once installed, hearing loops require virtually no maintenance.
    • Unlike Bluetooth, there is no limit to the number of users.
    • No headset is needed for users with a t-coil in their hearing aid. In contrast, FM and IR systems require all users to wear a receiver, calling attention to their hearing loss.
    • Individuals with T-coil-equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants simply activate the T-coil program to hear enhanced sound clarity. There is no need for a separate receiver.
